Dear all grocery stores within a 15-mile radius of my apartment,
Why are you doing this to me?
I've checked every single one of you, and apparently you've all conspired against me and decided NOT to stock Breyer's mint chocolate chip ice cream.
Chocolate? Yes. Vanilla? Yes. But no mint chocolate chip! WHY??? I'm freaking out. I would boycott you in protest, but I love you too much.
Dear one-year-old wedding cake,
You weren't very good, but I suppose you were a rite of passage.
I wish you had tasted more delicious and less like cardboard.
Dear Thursday boot camp,
You kicked my butt yesterday.
That backward guerrilla crawl up that steep hill was the worst thing to ever happen to me. I'd say even worse than a Jillian Michaels video. For serious.
Oh yes, and by the way...
Dear arms,
You are weak.
And last but not least,
Dear Jordan,
I'm excited to celebrate our one-year anniversary this weekend. Thank you again for my flowers. I can't stop smelling them.
p.s. Dear everyone at work,
Yes, I have carried these flowers back and forth to work and home every. single. day. this week. I am getting my money's worth, and they smell delicious. Don't judge.
Haha ... love that you are carrying them to and from work each day! I always think I will when I get flowers but then never do. Can't say I blame you! We didn't eat one-year-old wedding cake - it would have never survived a move from IL to TX (that and we forgot to freeze it after the wedding haha). I had a lady recreate our top layer...best decision ever :) Hope you and Jordan have a great time celebrating this weekend.
ha i LOVE mint chocolate chip ice cream. AMAZING! hope you find it :) found you via the link up! xo
I love that you've carried your flowers to work and home every single day. You are awesome!

You did great last night and conquered those hills! I hope you don't hurt too bad.
Have a wonderful anniversary weekend!
Gorgeous flowers - I'd probably take them home and bring them back too!
Found your blog through Ashley's link up :)
Great letters, have a wonderful anniversary weekend!
"... backward guerrilla crawl up that steep hill" That made me hurt just thinking about it. More power to you!
I have yet to hear anyone say their wedding cake tasted GOOD a year later! Ours was gross but my husband still shoveled two pieces into his mouth. ...MEN! loved your letters, thanks for linking up with me!
xo,
ashley
Enjoy your anniversary weekend! Your flowers are beautiful! Our original cake was gross too, but our bakery we went with gave us a certificate to come back a year later and get a fresh top layer of our cake! So smart right?
Just found this post. And I totally would have made you some more cake. Remember for next year. Do-over. <3, Buttercup the Baker
