BondiBand Giveaway! [Closed]

I am super pumped to be chosen to partner with BondiBands for a review and giveaway as part of a SweatPink ambassador campaign. Hosting a BondiBand giveaway wasn't even a question for me. I've been obsessed with their running headbands ever since I picked one up at a race expo in 2012. (You can see my first "review" post here.)

I've tried a few different running headbands, and this one is by far superior to anything I've worn before. This is just my opinion, of course, but I highly recommend them.
Why?

First of all, I love that you can get them in almost any color you can imagine, plain or with a fun saying.

Also, they come in handy during colder runs. They really do help keep my ears warm! The pulled-over-the-ears look isn't Jordan's favorite, but hey. Comfort > fashion. Amen.

Finally, I have crazy sideburn issues, and I love how I can pull them and stretch them to get my hair under control without worrying about them breaking or feeling like I'm cutting off circulation to my very important brain.

Here's a view of the back:

These are machine washable. My personal recommendation is to air dry them if possible, but I don't always remember to do that, and it's fine. I've just noticed a tiny bit of shrinkage with repeated machine dryer use.

BondiBands don't give me headaches or slip off my head, which you runners probably know is so important. The catch is that you have to wear them pulled over your hairline. Some people don't like that "look," but again, these are so comfortable I don't really care how it looks. Another cool thing about the company is that they donate 10% of their profits each year to charity.

Today I'm giving away one BondiBand to two winners! Enter using the giveaway tool below.   US residents only. If you don't win, use the code SWEATPINK for 10% off through June 28!

Winner will be chosen on 6/7. Entry will be verified. Good luck!
UPDATE: Congratulations to Robyn and Kindra!

*Disclaimer: I did receive free BondiBands to review and give away, but all opinions are my own.

  7. Running, for sure. I love the sweat that goes with running.
I like the sweat from swimming too but that is not as noticeable and I don't need a headband for that.
But running, yes. (And I have sideburn issues as well, they annoy me, I need to reign them in!

  11. Every headband I've ever used for running/tennis eventually slides off my head. And then my hair is just plain scary. I'd love to try one!

  13. I love how stretchy they look - comfy. Not giving me a head band headache - that's the worst! & big enough not to pop off the head.

  15. I've been wanting to try BondiBand since I started reading your blog. I think that was the second post I read, right after your "10 Things I Learned from My First 3 Years of Running" post. Sadly, I haven't bought one yet, but I need one! I have crazy bangs that always stick out of regular headbands and make me look like Medusa. Great giveaway!

  18. Running! Although weight training is a close second!

  19. I love going for looong, hilly hikes. Running is a close second--and much easier in Illinois, where there aren't any mountains to play on.

  20. oh I am always looking for new headbands! But my most favorite way to sweat is through kickboxing. Sometimes you just need to punch and kick something some days and kickboxing always gets me sweating so much! I also love running!

  26. I wish that I loved running and that it was my favorite way to sweat. But alas, I am just not into it. ;) My favorite way to sweat is doing Pilates. It looks easy when you watch other people do it, but man, when you do it yourself...not so much! I'd love to win a cute headband to wear for my Pilates workouts! :)

  27. My favorite way to sweat will always be running - but lately, I have to say, I've really been enjoying lifting weights. Especially on my designated leg day, probably because in my head it makes me feel like I did a hard run by the soreness I get! ha!

    1. Thanks so much! You should definitely check them out if you don't win, but I hope you do! I haven't biked in so long. I need to bring it up here. Currently it's at my parents' house, and I'm pretty it has 2 flat tires. So there's that.

    2. LOL I used to bike all. the. time. before kids. Then not so much. But I'm totally into it again. I've got one of my son's on board, and he wants to do C25K with me. WooHoo! Get that bike out...pump up those tires...you won't regret it! I love that I can jump on my bike and go as fast as I want and actually get somewhere. hehe And the burn...oh may how it sucks in the beginning of each ride, but it's so worth it. Can't really explain it...just something I love. :o) I will keep reading your blog...yours is the only one who's managed to actually convince me that I CAN run. Thanks for that!

  36. Definitely my favorite way to sweat is running!!! But right now, I can't run (I might be a little emotional about this), but still sweat being 7 months pregnant with my fourth kid. Swimming is my go to for the moment.

  37. Thanks for the giveaway. I usually use skinny headbands that I have to clip on when I run so these look great. And I have tiny little hairs that fly everywhere even with the headband so that drives me a little crazy.

  38. I would love this for running! It's my favorite way to work out!

  39. My favorite way to sweat is running and BodyPump - if I have those two things, I'm happy!

  40. Note: If you search "bondibands" on facebook, you will find a mexican rock band by that name....don't think they're going to give away a headband though!

  41. dude i have crazy sideburns too haha.
I LOVE sweating when either boxing or doing lots, lots, and lots of strength training moves. deadlifts, squats, burpees...while i don't always love the exercise, i love that it makes me feel stronger.

  42. Seeing as I am almost 6 months pregnant I am pretty much sweating just sitting around these days but prior to being pregnant it was running:) I always go down to just walking when I am pregnant just for my own personal peace of mind. But seeing as how I have set the goal to run my first full marathon in the year after my baby is born I would love to have one of these for training! :)

  43. I read "very important brain" in Winnie the Pooh's voice. it enhanced the experience IMMENSELY.

also, I'm sad I missed the giveaway but the ears thing might have sold them for me...
