Ask Anything Answers: Part 2 [A Vlog]

2.25.2015

Hello! I'm still working away in Salt Lake City this week, but I made another vlog to answer more of the questions you asked me, so I hope you enjoy.

See the first round of questions here.
And as always, if you have a question you would like answered, enter it here.

The video should be embedded below, but in case it's not, watch it on YouTube by clicking here. Alsooooo, I am SO sorry about the weird beeping noise. My computer is on the fritz! It's a refurbished Mac from 2008, so... yeah. It's an old grumpy thing.

Here are the questions I'm answering in this vlog, along with the times in the video when each question starts so you can skip ahead if you want:

1. (0:53) You are alone by yourself (Jordan is out), and you choose to watch a movie. What do you watch?
2. (1:28) At what time of day does Jordan's butt look best?
3. (2:06) Tell us about your family (siblings, parents, closeness, etc). How have those dynamics changed as you have gotten older?
4. (5:00) Are you planning to run another Tough Mudder?
5. (6:26) What is your favorite type of bra?
6. (7:51) Do you have any more marathons on your bucket list?
7. (8:41) Do you and Jordan plan to buy a house soon?
8. (9:48) Will you be my bff?

I'm going to get Jordan in on some of the questions in the next answer post! Maybe I can convince him to do a vlog with me, but no promises.

I love what you said about relationships with siblings. I have such a huge gap with mine in terms of age but I have found now that they are getting into high school I need to make an effort to reach out to them specifically rather than just saying hi when I talk to my mom.

I liked that you filmed the vlogs one after the other! Smart thinking.

I think your Mom is really wise to tell you to build relationships with your siblings. Like really really wise! My siblings are literally some of my closest friends and we call each other lots. It is fun and I think it is good to build deep relationships with them because they have known you the longest and can be some of the people to know how to encourage and love you the best.

I also think Jordan is really wise in having you guys save 20% for a downpayment. Now I know apartment living isn't fun while you save but I'm proud of you for doing that. I'm sure it will help long term financially and I think it will be good for your marriage that you heeded Jordan's advice. I'll pray for you abut a house and that God will help you with that process.

I just like you so much more after watching this.

Oh wow, $120 to suffer in a Tough Mudder during which you thought you might die. You're tough. Thanks for doing this series and answering our questions Amanda!

Okay, let's be friends! It's settled. I mean, friends in real life, of course. Your family dynamics sound a lot like mine. I am one of four siblings (second oldest) and you might describe our family as an Italian non-Italian family.

I also need to mention I loved your intro. I have the hardest time starting vlogs, which is probably why I rarely do them... but I love that you kept your "hello" attempts in the video! Haha!

I love the beginning! When I did a vlog for my closet confidential post, I totally started off my greeting like 10 times. I should have kept the bloopers and shared them! Thst's really exciting that y'all are going to buy a house this year!! I hope that it's a fun process for y'all. It was only a tiny bit stressful when we shopped around for houses, but we really tried to enjoy it. Some people hate shopping for houses, but it's such a big milestone! Try to enjoy it, even if it does get difficult. :) Praying for y'all!

I love Win A Date With Tad Hamilton! There's no shame in that :)
One of my go to home alone movies is Safe Haven. It's also one of those books I can read over and over again.

That is a lot of money paid for someone to shock you!! Eek. Good luck on the house hunt, owning is a good feeling. Win A Date is a cute chick flick, no judging! ;)

These are seriously the best! It's like a coffee date with you. First of all, your mom sounds SUPER wise and I must say I'm going to take her advice to heart. As your were talking about your relationships with your siblings I was thinking of my own and just how I do sometimes freak if my brothers call me- and I don't want it to be that way. My brother is actually in Thailand now and will be for an unknown amount of time and we've talked more now than we did when we lived an hour apart. Sad, but true. I am totally taking your mom's advice to heart! Second of all, did you mentioned that you blacked out in the shock part of the tough mudder? Because now I'm definitely going to go around that obstacle if I ever did one. Thirdly, yay for the (hopeful) house! That's so great that you're going to be able to put 20% down and I am definitely praying for you guys! I especially loved how you said hi fifty million times at the beginning. Maybe you can try it in different languages next time haha ;)

Loved the questions (and of course the answers). It's great to learn more about you while hearing your voice. It's funny because I actually hear it when I read your posts, although I wasn't familiar with your voice before these videos. ANYWAY. Happy to be part of your friends!

Booo I can't get the video to load, but based on the list of questions I can definitely see I'm missing an awesome vlog!!!!!

Haha! Your "hello" intro looks like the outtakes of some of my videos for sure! ;)

I am so not judging you for watching Win a Date with Tad Hamiliton! It's such a great movie. Cute and funny! :)

Hey! Your "Italian" family is a lot like mine! ;) I'm one of five and we are very like that. Lots of noise and lots of fun (and lots of great food).

Hooray for house hunting! How exciting!

YAY! We can be besties!! Okay, so that wasn't actually my question (though the family one was mine), but still! ;)

I am so far behind on reading blogs. What's wrong with me?! ;-)

I love how you started this vlog with so many hellos. That made me laugh out loud. It keeps buffering on me, so I'm slowly working my way through this. :)
