*Project 12: A photo on the first day of every month*

Traveled
As you probably know, I've been out of town on a business trip to Utah since Tuesday. This is the view from the sky as we flew out on Sunday. Amazing, right? I'm looking forward to sharing some pictures and stories from my trip with you! For now, let's just say it was a very busy and tiring week, and I'm happy to be home.

Dates
Jordan and I had a Valentine's date to Target to buy cards for each other. You can read more about it and other funny Jordmanda things here

We also went to a Thunder basketball game. We have gone to one every year since they came to town and always have a lot of fun!

Notable Events
This wasn't that big of a deal, but I did play a soloish type of thing at church one Sunday. It was during the choir solo, and I got really nervous about it and practiced all week. But it went really well, and as far as I can tell I didn't royally mess up.

p.s. If you're interested, you can read this post, where I talk more about playing the violin.

I know a few other awesome blogger friends are doing Project 12 this year (yay!) and so I'll be adding a linkup to my Project 12 posts. This is the lowest of low key linkups. There's not a button or any rules. Just link up if you wrote a Project 12 post!

Ooohhh! I didn't know you play violin! How cool is that?! I'm a piano player, but always wish I could learn violin! Maybe one day I'll sign up for some lessons.

So cool that you know how to play the violin. I played the flute for like a year and most likely couldn't play it now. Did you like the book?

Love the Valentine's Date...perfect :) I didn't realize you played violin...how awesome! I wish I had stuck with piano when I was a kid because I would love to have the ability to play now...music has be such a wonderful stress relief. Well...maybe not in this particular case since it involved a performance, but you know what I mean :)

I enjoyed it a lot, actually, and I think you might too. It's very interesting. Unlike anything I've read before.

I'm glad your solo went well. I always think it is nerve wracking to play a solo in church.

I also hope you get rested from your trip. Traveling and working at the same time can be tiring. I hope you got to do some fun things too though throughout your trip.

That view is STUNNING. Straight out of a Lord of the Rings movie.

Team #Jordmanda, love it! I had no idea either that you play the violin, how cool! Playing in front of an audience is nerve-wrecking, I'm glad it went well!
That picture is absolutely gorgeous, can't wait to see more.

I was so not on the internet in February, so I loved hearing about y'all's Valentine's date. Brilliant. I'm all about efficiency, and choosing cards and then not buying them, that's efficient. This year, Angel made me a homemade card at the youth group party where I had everyone make cards and cookies to give away. Then he made me a cookie, but i'd already made myself too many cookies to eat it, so he ate it. I was busy facilitating...and i didn't make him anything. It was perfect.
